Chicken Hakka Noodles

Serve this lip-smacking and delicious recipe to your friends and family on occasions like Iftar parties, birthdays and buffets.


You can enjoy the noodles with Schezwan sauce or chilli sauce. Try it!

Ingredients to make Chicken Hakka Noodles:

For Seasoning

black pepper as required
salt as required
For Garnishing
1 cup spring onions

For The Main Dish
2 egg
100 gm mushroom
1 cup carrot
1 cup peas
50 gm prawns
1 cup bean
1 cup capsicum (green pepper)
  • Take a large non-stick heavy-bottomed pan and add water to it. Keep it over medium flame and add noodles to it. Cook the noodles until they are firm to bite. Now, take another pan and make egg omelette from the 2 eggs and then cut them into strips. Also fry the prawns. Keep them aside.Rinse the chicken under cold running water and then pat dry. Take a chopping board and chop the garlic, carrot, onion, and spring onion separately and keep them aside. Coat the chicken with cornflour, 2 tbsp egg, salt and fry them. Keep it aside. Heat 2 tsp oil in a wok over medium flame, add chopped garlic and ginger paste in it. Stir well.Next add all veggies, cooked chicken, prawn and half of the egg strips. Keep stirring. Add soy sauce, chili garlic sauce and vinegar. Make sure you keep stirring. Put the cooked noodles and toss well. Ensure that all the ingredients gets mixed up uniformly. Finish off with chopped spring onion greens. Garnish with another half of the egg strips.
