Apple Kheer

Apple Kheer is a healthy and delicious dessert recipe best served during Ramadan

 

Serve your loved ones with this healthy iftar item.

Ingredients to make Apple

kheer:

1 cup chopped apple

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon ghee

2 cup milk

2 teaspoon chopped cashews

Steps:
  • Steam cook the apple pieces and cool.

    Then grind them to a fine (or coarse) paste. You can also grate them finely if desired.

    Bring the milk to a boil. Add sugar, ground apple paste and mix well. Simmer for a minute.

    Fry the cashew nuts in ghee and add to the kheer.

    Serve hot or cold.
