Ingredents to make Rava Dhokla

- Firstly, in a bowl, add semolina, curd, salt and vegetable oil. Add little water to adjust the consistency of the batter. The batter should neither be too thick nor too thin. Now, cover the bowl and keep aside for 20-30 minutes.Then, add fruit salt in batter and do not beat too much. Transfer the batter into a greased pan and shake the pan to even out the batter. On the other hand, place coriander leaves over a chopping board and chop them.
Simultaneously, keep water for boiling in a pressure cooker or a steamer and place a small plate at base of the pressure cooker. Now, place the batter pan on the top and cover the cooker/steamer. Steam for 15 minutes on medium flame.
Now, after 15 minutes, turn off the flame. Then, remove the plate from the steamer. Let it cool at room temperature. Now, transfer the rava dhokla onto another plate by loosening the edges with help of knife.
For preparing the tempering, heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, sesame seeds and green chilli. Once the mustard seeds start to splutter, pour the tempering on top of rava dhokla. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander and cut into pieces.
